Direct Print Solutions

Our DocuColor 8000AP: This digital color press produces customized brochures, one-to-one documents, and other print jobs on a wide variety of paper stocks, all with outstanding image quality. Engineered for high-end commercial printers and on-demand print professionals, the DocuColor 8000 is an ideal machine for short-run marketing communications and direct mail.

The DocuColor 8000 is one of the few digital presses capable of printing on an array of smooth finish substrates, ranging from 50 lb. text to 110 lb. cover. We’ve configured our machine with four paper trays, a high-capacity stacker and an in-line finishing system, making it one of a kind and the first of its type in the country. The greatest benefit of this configuration is the ability to ensure the integrity of multi-page, completely variable documents.

Our ColorWorks 8000 Booklet Maker works in-line with our DocuColor 8000. This unique finishing system combines bleed trimming, scoring, stitching, folding, face trimming and stacking into a single automated process that enables us to produce completed, personalized 8-page statements at speeds of up to 450 per hour.

High Speed Laser: Our Kodak E125 with in-line folding is ideally configured for personalized letters, self-mailers and versioned newsletters.

Kodak DI 5634: This 4-Color 12" x 18" format press is great for your short-run static color printing projects in quantities from 250 - 20,000.

Inkjet Imaging: A Scitex 5120 dual-head DigitPrint System and a Custom Wide Format Self-Mailer System with three 1" Buskro print heads, in-line folding and wafer sealing round out our digital imaging capabilities.

Data Processing: Our data processing skill and capabilities set us apart. Successful data-driven projects are dependent on the ability to manipulate and process data effectively.

Other Core Solutions

Prepress: Harty has a comprehensive prepress and desktop support department. Our staff is expert in both Mac and Windows platforms, providing scanning, color correction, digital proofing, repurposing, and a Kodak Prinergy direct-to-plate workflow.

Press Room: For over 100 years, Harty has been providing the finest printing. Our 40" offset presses print up to seven colors plus aqueous coatings in quantities into the millions.

Finishing & Fulfillment: Our finishing department offers turnkey solutions, including collation, pick and pack, fulfillment, folding, die-cutting, saddle stitching, inserting, wafer sealing, and mail processing.
